Take some time to get used to the handling before you get too far into the game, and be prepared to take some care when you're accelerating and braking. Cars have a tendency to slide and drift on their own, and if you're not careful, you will lose control. You should know coming in to this game that the car handling model in Driver: San Francisco is.loose. ![]() ![]() ![]() Buy cars from entering garages, and buy garages from their greyed-out markers on the map. Additionally, the more cars and garages you own, the more Willpower you'll earn when you receive your income every 20 minutes. Faster cars will allow you to complete Dares and Activities with more ease. Steer clear of the Thrill Cam and the Token Finder - these upgrades have very specific uses that we won't need to worry about until we've finished the main storyline.Ä«uying cars and garages is another worthwhile use of your Willpower. Income Multiplier will increase the amount of Willpower you earn every 20 minutes in the game. Ability Bar Size and Recharge Speed will boost your in-car abilities and make progressing through the game easier. When you do earn Willpower, focus on buying upgrades. You will probably need either an ability you will unlock later, or a better car that you either can't currently afford or haven't unlocked yet. If you can't complete one on the first couple of tries, skip it and come back to it. Completing Dares will unlock upgrades, and completing Activities will unlock new cars. ![]() Instead, be sure to complete some Dares and Activites between missions.
